Very quiet (except for the loud insect noises) but no cars and quiet peaceful.
The staff were hardly at reception. Luckily someone was there when we arrived, promising that their cafe and restaurant would be open the next day. It was not. They said we can order food but the wait times are 50 mins upward and limited. Not what we expected to have to deal with in the morning. We also booked for the pool, only to find it on the verge of abandonment. The deck was dirty, chairs broken and water murky and green. The cleaners clearly had left our door open when cleaning as came back after a day out to mosquitoes infesting the room. The other disappointing features could’ve been overlooked if everything else wasn’t such a let down like the shower head hanging on by a thread or the balcony light not working. Wouldn’t recommend.

Great location and lovely green ambience in mountains and by the rice paddies …. The rooms are fine and the staff were easy going and nice
There were a few old tatty umbrellas and pool chairs and the place could use a bit of paint
Location is great but the place is unfortunately poorly maintained. Rooms are ok but bathroom was dirty. Closet broken as well as rack for hanging towels. Pool has a spectacular view but extremely limited opening hours. Breakfast very basic. Be aware of mosquitoes, there are a lot!
Photos lie, probably taken ages ago. The room was less than basic, uncomfortable hard mattress (and I've lived in Thailand for many years), 1 small pillow, no toiletries, not so clean room, dusty balcony, wood chairs no pillows. Breakfast was terrible. I understand 100% they don't offer breakfast buffet in these difficult times (it felt like we were the only guests), but Nescafe and Coffee Mate?? We are in the coffeeland! The quality of the food was bad, with the exception of 2 super fresh eggs from the roaming hens. All in all, a disappointing experience that doesn't match the reviews and the photos.
Not obvious where to check in (nobody at the office), had to call them. Pool far from room (but looked good). Room said to include minibar but didn't. No room service - had to ask 3 times to get new water. Room pictures had a chair for working at the desk, but there was only a small stool, not ideal for work. Bathroom had a prison vibe. Okay bed.
