Good · based on 864 reviewsAI summaryGenerally positive overall: many guests recommend and enjoy the pool/garden and location; noise levels and some maintenance/cleanliness issues temper the experience.
Cleanliness6.2
Mixed reports: several guests say rooms are clean, but there are serious complaints (cockroaches, A/C leak flooding a room) and some mentions of lumpy pillows — lowered due to these issues.Service8.0
Mostly positive: multiple reviews praise friendly, very helpful staff; a few note busy or occasionally brusque reception — overall service is a strength.Location9.5
Consistently praised: central, beachfront and steps from Bangla Road and nightlife; location is the hotel's main selling point (noise is a trade-off).Room6.5
Rooms are described as dated/vintage and in need of updating (under-powered A/C for some, lumpy pillows, worn stairs); noise from nightlife also affects perceived room quality.Amenities8.2
Positive amenities: attractive garden, pleasant pool and bungalow complex noted by many guests; some minor negatives (breakfast offering, occasional rain impacts).Value for money7.3
Mixed: a few guests find it a bit expensive given dated rooms and limited breakfast, but repeat stays and strong location support reasonable perceived value.Food and drink7.7
Restaurant and food receive compliments (delicious, highly recommended), while breakfast is described as standard/limited — balanced positive rating.
