The Park Samui

It was always clean and so were the facilities. It’s so close to the Choengmon beach, it’s quiet it has 2 different pools one for those who can swim and one that has a big shallow section for kids and families. The staff are so welcoming and helpful including the cleaning ladies and the man that sweeps outside are.

The condo itself was very spacious and modern with 2 beautiful swimming pools. The staff were very helpful and were happy to give us advice and help with any questions and arranging transport for us. I would recommend hiring a car or scooter to get around as walking everywhere can get uncomfortable in the heat. We had our 2 children with us age 8 and 5 and either got a car or walked to the end of the road and got a songthaew.

Lived at those apartment 2 times before, in 2009 and 2012. Then they had transportation/or manned reception who arranged taxi. They also had restaurant, so u not always needed to travel to get to restaurant. Service was much better before, better cleaning of pool, outdoor areas and apartment. Good standard of apartments and fully equipped. Now is is leaf everywhere outside, To much trees in areas. Cleaning of rooms only once a week, and quality of cleaning is not good. Bathroom was not good cleaned, floor neither in general. We got no information when arrived about how reception is manned, who to call if there was problems. U should rent a car of motorbike, orelse it will be expensive with taxi all time. Not all taxidrivers knew where hotel was, so that was a problem in the beginning until I learnt how to explain what area. U can take tuk-tuk, but then you need to go 5-600 meter to "main road" and wait. This apartmenthotel is for those who want to to everything by themselves, but to expencive compared to what we get. Standard, quality and service was much better before I will not live there anymore.

The Park Samui is lovely, if you like a lovely quiet setting where you can relax without the frenetic activity of the Thai tourist industry intruding this is the place for you. A couple of lovely pools just outside the apartments, really helpful staff from the receptionist right down to the cleaners. We liked being able to have our own breakfast at home and then being able to walk down to the beach at Cheung Mon. It is at least a 20-25 min walk, but it's all downhill and you can always take a Taxi back. The apartment itself was lovely, the shower was broken in the main bedroom when we arrived and they very quickly had it mended. I would say that our unit could do with a little TLC, the kitchen could have been better supplied, kitchen hob updated, bathrooms need attention. This isn't down to the staff at the Park though as every unit is individually owned so they are responsible for the upkeep. The staff themselves were very attentive, as soon as we mentioned anything, they dealt with it. There was a really nice little gym onsite, it had everything I needed to do a workout and there was a really nice deck area under cover if you fancy doing a bit of yoga or pilates with sound of the water trickling in the background. We had a lovely relaxing holiday which was just what we needed. Thank you !

Super große und sehr schöne Apartments, wobei jedes Schlafzimmer über ein eigenes Bad verfügt. Zusätzlich gibt es noch eine separate Gästetoilette. Der Wohnbereich ist großzügig und gemütlich gestaltet. Das Hotel liegt etwas abgelegen vom Strand, daher macht es unserer Meinung nach Sinn, ein Auto zu mieten. Dafür hat man auch eine eigene Garage zur Verfügung hat. Alternativ kann man ganz unkompliziert über die App „Grab“ ein Taxi bestellen. Die App wird in Thailand überall genutzt und ist sehr einfach zu bedienen. Zu Fuß erreicht man in etwa 10 Minuten den nächsten 7-Eleven und in ca. 20 Minuten verschiedene Restaurants. Der Garten ist wunderschön angelegt und mit vielen verschiedenen Pflanzen sehr grün mit alten Baumbestand. Insgesamt haben wir das Hotel als ausgesprochen ruhig empfunden. Obwohl der Flughafen nur etwa 15 Minuten entfernt ist, hört man davon überhaupt nichts. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt und würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen.

Man hat ein paar Kleinigkeiten wie ein lockerer Handtuchhalter, ect, über die man aber anhand des guten Preises hinwegsehen kann.

Im Großen und Ganzen muss man sagen das die Bilder leider nicht dem entsprechen was geboten wird. Die Zimmer sind schon in die Jahre gekommen, Toilettendeckel locker, sämtliche Armaturen verkalkt,Geschirr leider auch nicht sauber. Das Haus selbst war sauber. Die Dame an der Rezeption war freundlich,konnte zwar kein Englisch,aber mit Übersetzungsapp klappte es ( uns wurde aber auch nur das Haus geöffnet und das WLAN Passwort gezeigt,danach war sie verschwunden) Lage ist abseits,was wir aber so wollten. Mit Roller alles gut zu erreichen! Insgesamt war es für uns als Familie wegen der Größe okay,aber nochmal buchen würden wir es zu dem Preis nicht nochmal.
