Good,but never fun when there are “hiccups” along the way.

Good location,good rooms,and most staff great.

On arrival,one lift wasn’t working.On the last 2 days,neither was working.So definitely not fun when on the 4th floor!Also was advised on arrival by a lady that if I needed extra water at any stage,just ask at the desk.Did do one night only to be told to go the 7-11 down the road🙄.The staff member(a larger young man) who told me this was too busy playing on his phone.He had also not helped me out previously when I needed some change(which again I was told by other staff members to see the desk).He really seemed like he didn’t like to help anyone unfortunately.Apart from that,all the other staff were excellent and extremely helpful.

Great location and price. Hotel needs some TLC

Location and price. Breakfast was good too.

Window rattled and not secure. Bad water pressure with the hot water. And water from the shower backs up, And doesn’t run away properly.

Staff were very helpful and considerate during my stay, the hotel location was good.

There was no bar of soap provided in my room for washing. Only a single bottle of body wash in the shower to use for washing hands.

Very central, next to Marriott, Mövenpick, Duangtawan Hotel and near the night market. Small shopping mall Pantip 2 minutes away. China Town possible to reach by foot. Breakfast for 2 persons for a good price option. Room was clean and there was a good room service. Reception and employees very friendly. Price for that area very effortable.

Will I come back? YES!

I loved it here. I stayed for 15 days and it was extremely a comfortable hotel. The team of staff were super friendly and helpful. The most important thing was the location! About 17-20 minutes from the airport and super close to various cafes, restaurants and the night market. From the hotel, I would walk daily to the Phae Gate (Old City) and it only took me around 20 minutes of walk - super convenient! The Anusarn Night Market is just 5mins away (walking) from the hotel and there are legit good massage spots nearby with affordable price and best services (I tried the hot oil massage) at Areeya Rose which was 3mins walk from the hotel. I would definitely come back and stay here again and trust me - from someone who spent 15 days 14 nights at this hotel, the price and the location WINS! Easy to get Grab/Bolt as well. There are also many temples around within walking distance. Overall, I am satisfied and a big THANK YOU to the STAR HOTEL Chiang Mai team.

Everything was good! Just a small hiccup where one of the elevator did not work but that was not a big problem because they still had another elevator.

Ben eerder vertrokken omdat het hotel sfeerloos en niet erg schoon is.

Dat ik kon inchecken.

Heel veel. Geen, zoals beloofd, kluisje in je kamer. Werd wel nog even in een kast geschroefd. Televisie niet meer van deze tijd. Monteurs konden haar niet ongestoord aan de praat krijgen. Vloerbedekking in kamer en gangen smerig met heel veel vlekken. In de kamer werd niet gestofzuigd. Hotel was verder sfeerloos. Een enorme hal waar je binnenkomt en waar de tijd al vijftig jaar lijkt stil te staan. Van Thaise invloeden niets te bespeuren. Kaal en ongezellig. Ontbijt karig. Is er dan helemaal niets goed? Jawel. Plek van hotel wel aardig. Dichtbij van alles, avondmarkt, massage, tempels. Zwembad fijn. Personeel vriendelijk, maar dat geldt in bijna alle hotels in Thailand. Goedkoop. En in een rustig straatje. Kortom, geen 3, of 4 sterren maar 2 voor Star Hotel.

Teleurstellend. Wij gaan nu op zoek naar een ander hotel voor de volgende keer.

Wij komen daar al jaren. Er is veel veranderd maar niet ten goede. Ontbijt teleurstellend. Douche koud water. Het personeel is wel top en de locatie ook.
