It’s almost difficult to rate this property because it falls outside any usual category - it really is a world of its own. You walk through the gate and suddenly find yourself in a miniature traditional Thai village. The buildings are quirky and full of character, with an incredible amount of thought and work put into every detail. The traditional wooden houses have all the modern facilities you could want, without losing any of their charm. It’s just a few minutes walks for the The owners went out of their way to make our stay special. From the morning herbal steam sessions to the spectacular freshly cooked breakfasts - each accompanied by a story and an explanation rooted in traditional Thai medicine - everything felt thoughtful and unique. They also gave us excellent recommendations for local sights and places to eat. I would absolutely love to stay here again.

Where do I even begin? The most magical place. From the moment we stepped out of our taxi, Anya was there waiting to greet us. Our bags were taken to our room and we entered the magical place that is BaanBooLoo Village. Wow! Photos do not do this place justice. We walked into a Thai paradise - beautiful handbuilt wooden structures, trailing orchids and greenery, funky decor, the smell of incense, herbs and flowers, running water features and the croak of their resident frog. A feast for the senses in the best way. As soon as we stepped foot into this beautiful little world just off the busy streets of Chiang Mai, we breathed a sigh of relief and relaxation. You can feel the amount of love that has gone into building this special little oasis. We were taken up into the eating area where tea and fruit was waiting for us. They made us the best coffee - much needed after the long journey from England. I cant put into words the feeling you get just from being in this beautiful place. All your worries and stresses melt away here. Anya then took the time to sit down with us whilst we enjoyed our coffee and fruit, she gave us a map of Chiang Mai and told us all about the best places to visit. We were amazed that our room was already ready as we arrived very early at 9am. Our accommodation was the rice farmers house. It was SO clean and the most unique place we have ever stayed. Beautiful wooden structures, ornate tiles in the shower, a bespoke stair case and little bridge across into the bathroom with a lovely big bath and window opposite to see the moon at night! The bedroom is fully air conditioned and has the biggest comfiest bed. Although BaanBooLoo is a village with various accommodations, it never once felt busy and was always so peaceful, quiet and relaxing. It truly had the most beautiful atmosphere. We felt right at home here. Her family and brother spent the last 20 years pouring their love into building this incredible place and I never wanted to leave.

A magical experience in the heart of the city. A little oasis on calm where you are made to feel truly at home. You must try the stream! Traditional Thai breakfast is exceptional.

We stayed here for a week, and I honestly don’t have the words to express how grateful we are for this experience and for meeting such wonderful people. This is an incredible family! so warm, kind, and genuinely welcoming. They made us feel like we had truly found a home away from home. We were lucky enough to enjoy the traditional Thai food they prepare themselves, which was absolutely delicious and incredibly nourishing. We were also introduced to their unique herbal sauna, as well as the different teas and medicinal herbs used in traditional Thai medicine. We learned so much and are taking both the knowledge and the experience home with us. There is no doubt that we’ll be back, and we’ll be recommending this special place to all of our friends. It’s such a unique experience that truly nurtures you from the inside out. Thank you for everything. You are amazing. 🫶🏼

藏在古城中心的一座兰纳风格木屋，闹中取静，房间很大很舒适，顶部的雕刻、房间里的挂画和门梁的浮雕，各处布置都体现出了主人的审美，Aunya是个特别可爱的女孩子，到的那天为我们准备了水果和草本饮料消暑，还给了一些旅行建议，特别感谢Aunya和她的哥哥们、还有民宿所有工作人员的照顾，希望还能回来。

Cette hébergement est une véritable oasis de dépaysement. Je voyage beaucoup et j'aime les beaux hébergements atypiques avec du cachet et une âme. Ici Aunya nous a fait vivre une expérience au cœur de Chiang Mai dont je me souviendrai longtemps. L hôtel est magnifique, l'accueil extraordinaire, les PDJ succulents, le service digne d'un hôtel de luxe. Il n'y a absolument rien à redire ou à critiquer. La perfection est ici. Un de mes top 5 des hébergements au monde.

L’authenticité du lieu est simplement incroyable ! Le mobilier vous fait vivre un voyage. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et la proximité de ce logement !!
