Hotel guest reviews

8.5Very good · based on 870 reviews

AI summaryGenerally pleasant stays with excellent food, helpful staff, good pool and great value, but overall score is reduced by hygiene concerns in at least one review, issues with unexpected extra charges and some infrastructure problems (no lift, bathroom flooding).

Cleanliness7.0
Mixed reports: many guests describe rooms as clean and comfortable, but at least one review reports insects/bedbugs, mold and rust in bathrooms — lowered score to reflect this notable hygiene concern amid generally positive cleanliness comments.
Service9.5
Consistently praised: multiple mentions of very friendly, helpful staff and attentive bar staff. One complaint about unexpected charges slightly tempers score, but overall service is a strong positive.
Location9.0
Favored for being quiet, secluded and close to the airport; described as a good location for onward travel. Slightly remote for some, but proximity to airport is a clear asset.
Room8.0
Rooms described as spacious, comfortable beds and good balconies; some bathrooms need updating and there are reports of shower heads flooding bathrooms, so score is positive but moderated by these issues.
Amenities8.0
Strong positives for pool, pleasant gardens and a lively bar with live music; lacking a lift and some parking issues noted, so amenities are good but not perfect.
Value for money9.5
Many guests call it very good value or excellent price (even cited extremely low nightly cost including breakfast). Value is a standout strength.
Food and drink9.5
Repeated praise for excellent breakfast and dinner, varied breakfast buffet and a nice restaurant/bar with live music — consistently highlighted as a major positive.

An excellent relaxing holiday in an ideal position at a very reasonable price.

The location is ideal, the staff are very polite, efficient and courteous plus the pool is superb.

Quality with job one well done

The structure of the building quality intact interior of the building quality intact. Everything good the breakfast in the amenity that they offered very clean place it’s all good there. I’ll do it again.

I can’t see anything that I don’t like really the staff was professional. Everybody did their job folks are good. I find no fault. That’s it. That’s a fact I’ll do it again.

Great value hotel in Udon Thani

Staff were very polite and helpful. Choice of food for breakfast was excellent. Entertainment in bar was good and the bar staff were good fun. Very good value for money hotel.

Rooms a little dated but clean. The coffee from the machine at breakfast wasn't hot, minor criticism.

Great value for money!

Very nice hotel with a very good breakfast and a very friendly staff. Great value for money. The hotel is situated a little bit away from the busy city center but a Grab brings you there for less than 100 Baht. Very conveniently located next to the airport. This was my third stay at the President and I will definitely stay there again if I will be in Udon again.

Nothing really!
