Santiburi Koh Samui

Excellent breakfast buffet. Great facilities, swimming pool and beachfront. The beach restaurant had fun entertainment after dinner. Walking distance from other entertainment.

The room is great, staff is very friendly and helpful! The spa is also excellent.

My villa was supposed to be oceanfront, and I paid the oceanfront rate, but another villa partially blocked the view and a bar was set up directly in front of my villa. As a result, I could barely see the ocean. The pool also lacked adequate safety features for children, and the floor around the pool was extremely slippery. My children fell twice when we first used it. The kids’ club was just okay. Children under 4 require a nanny to stay with them, and the playground was quite small with limited activities. The resort staff were very helpful in arranging our tee time at Santiburi Samui Golf Country Club. However, after our round, the clubhouse required us to pay an additional caddie tip in cash, even though the resort had told us tipping was optional and we had already tipped all three caddies. One caddie assisted the player, while the other two were required to drive the power cart for our non-playing family members. If a percentage-based tip is required, it would be much clearer to include it in the fee upfront and explain the policy before the round. The golf course was also a significant disappointment. The promotional photos showed a beautiful, lush green championship course, but when we visited, there was very little green grass throughout the course, except around the putting green. The actual condition was very different from what was shown in the advertising.

It lacks that luxury element especially for the price. Pot had a slight sewage smell and the property lacks style to some extent of that matters to you. Regardless of course this is nit picking and it’s an excellent choice for most

Sehr schönes weitläufiges Resort. Fantastischer Strand mit vielen Palmen. Ausreichend Liegen und Hängematten, auch im Schatten. Toller Baumbestand, haben sehr viele unterschiedliche Vögel beobachten können. Frühstück war auch sehr besonders, vor allem die Terrasse im Freien unter Bäumen. Sehr sehr schön.

Le côté très standardisé de la décoration des chambres, le prix un peu excessif des chambres et du restaurant

La struttura è bella, ma molto outdated: necessiterebbe di un restauro importante. Il cibo l’ho trovato mediocre. C’era varietà anche a colazione, ma la qualità di certo non era di un resort 5 stelle. Infine, siamo stati offesi e maltrattati durante il checkout da parte del manager on duty quel giorno (Taiwen, se non ricordo male). Su questo punto contatterò direttamente la struttura per segnalare l’accaduto. Tutti gli altri membri dello staff sono sempre stati gentilissimi, ma questo grave episodio mi ha costretta a dare una valutazione negativa.
