We had a truly wonderful experience during our stay in Bangkok.From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and kindness of the hotel staff made us feel welcome and comfortable\. The service we received made our trip even more special and memorable\. A special thank you to Mr. Golf who was the receptionist on our first day He was so kind and welcoming. I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to Ally and Ravi, who were equally helpful and supportive throughout our stay.We also really enjoyed the breakfast.It was delicious, fresh, and offered a nice variety of choices, making it a wonderful way to start each day. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so pleasant and memorable.We will definitely remember the kindness we experienced here and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bangkok. We would love to stay here again on our next visit. ❤️🇹🇭

Room lightings very less no bright lights near mirror

2nd time staying here, the room we got was a bit dated, but assuming we just got the last pick by the time we checked in, there was a big difference in quality to the first time we stayed, but nonetheless everything else was great, staff are so welcoming, will go above and beyond for you, breakfast was okay, a bit more variety would be better. Although a bit far from Central BKK, you’re close to BTS stations so everything is accessible. Would stay again!

Staff was untrained. Noisy rooms,from 3rd floor could hear all the noise from outside vehicles.Food at the breakfast buffet was stale. On the day of check out,someone stole my expensive watch from the room.When I asked to see the video from the cctv, i was told technician is on holiday,asked about manager,even manager was on holiday. So beware of your belongings these people are thieves.

Great value for its location in Sathorn. Very friendly staff. Thumbs up from me.

Other needing to switch rooms after first night, it was absolutely spot on! Very apologetic, and so friendly also.

13-Day Stay at L D’Tel Bangkok (October 1–13) Positives * Most staff were pleasant, although two staff members occasionally came across as annoyed or sassy. * Great breakfast buffet with a good variety of Western and Asian dishes, soups, an egg station, bread, cereal, coffee, and juices. * Convenient location with plenty of restaurants, three 7-Elevens within a two-block radius, fruit stands, and pharmacies. I primarily used taxis and Grab, so I can’t comment on public transportation access. * Daily housekeeping; my room was consistently cleaned.

Negatives Unreliable air conditioning My biggest issue was the inconsistent air conditioning. I initially thought I might be imagining things, but my room’s temperature fluctuated significantly despite keeping the blackout curtains closed. On my 12th day, I stayed in to work and attend meetings. Although the thermostat was set to 18°C (64.4°F), the room reached 26–26.5°C (78.8–79.7°F). I contacted the front desk, and a technician inspected the unit, assuring me it should improve within 10 minutes. However, 30–40 minutes later, the room was even hotter, reaching 28°C (82.4°F). After I called again, two technicians returned and eventually told me I needed to change rooms. The front desk then informed me that the new room wasn’t ready and asked me to wait. A few minutes later, they called again to ask whether I wanted a higher floor and whether I was okay waiting another hour. That was the breaking point. I was about to join a meeting while sitting in an unbearably hot room, and being asked if I was fine felt incredibly tone-deaf. I eventually had to follow up myself after another 40 minutes before staff brought me the new room keys. I thought the problem was finally resolved, but at 3 a.m., the same AC issue occurred in the new room. Experiencing the same problem twice, including in the middle of the night, was beyond frustrating. Very unreliable Wi-Fi The Wi-Fi was another major disappointment. While streaming content through the TV worked fine, connecting my phone to the hotel Wi-Fi was a different story. On most days, it was so unreliable that even downloading iMessage or LINE messages was a struggle. For a hotel stay of 13 days, having Wi-Fi that couldn’t reliably handle basic messaging was extremely inconvenient. I consider myself an easygoing guest. I don’t need special treatment; I simply want to be comfortable without repeatedly contacting the front desk to resolve basic issues.
