AnhMatkusti parina · Aug 31Very kind and accommodating staff. It was a long stay for us and the staff made sure that we had everything we need for a comfortable stay. The place was clean, it has a small kitchen which was very convenient for making or heating up food. The design of the place is contemporary, which brings about really good vibes. There’s a cafe on the ground floor which is nice for a slow or rainy day when you can’t travel.
The biggest drawback for us was the noise. There is no soundproofing at all. Our room is close to the street side and we couldn’t sleep well due to the noise coming from the street (and also from people in other rooms - but if other people are noisy after 11pm, the staff will absolutely help to get the other guests to keep quiet). If you are not staying long like we did, you probably would still be fine.

No hay que olvidar que es un hostel, nosotros teníamos habitación privada pero había gente volviendo de fiesta tarde y haciendo ruido en los pasillos. Cero insonorización. Lo mismo con la calle, está pegado a una autopista.
SalmaMatkusti yksin · Aug 20The location is good. It’s not centrally located, but Khaosan Road is about a 20-minute walk away. There are also some good restaurants nearby, as well as two convenience stores. The room was nice and the toilets were clean. The showers had shampoo and shower gel, and there was also a hairdryer. The AC worked well, and the beds were comfortable. However, the windows were sealed shut and couldn’t be opened. I definitely wouldn’t have booked the room if I had known this beforehand, so I think this is something that should be clearly mentioned in the room description. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and thought it was good value for money. I would definitely come back, as long as I could book a room with windows that can be opened.

TarighMatkusti perheen kanssa · Jul 11Das Frühstück war leider enttäuschend. Es gab nur vier feste Menüs, Toast nur bei einem davon. Für zusätzliches Brot musste man diskutieren. Außerdem war trotz Buchung für zwei Erwachsene und unsere sechsjährige Tochter zunächst nur Frühstück für zwei Personen vorgesehen. Auch das mussten wir erst klären. Als ich auf kalten Tee hinwies, reagierte das Personal leider unfreundlich und belehrend statt hilfsbereit. Insgesamt fühlten wir uns dadurch nicht besonders willkommen oder wertgeschätzt.
