Amazing restaurant downstairs
MatthewsMatkusti parina · Sep 10Good location in the old town. Old hotel but has a certain style. Close to a good market, the hotel had a restaurant offering good food
Nothing really, bed a little too hard for me

WayneMatkusti ryhmässä · Aug 6Ban Ao Thong is a vintage hotel in an excellent location across from Trang's railway station and near downtown eateries, bars and cafés. Its decor may seem a bit twee at first, but it grows on you as you start to appreciate the ornate wooden sculptures and mid-century elements. It has a lively bar/restaurant downstairs if you're stuck for ideas on where to go.
The ground floor bar can be a bit noisy for early-to-bed guests, but seems to shut down at a decent hour. The AC unit is positioned directly over the bed, and being as old as much of the decor, the louvers are inoperable. That means the air blasted directly onto the bed, requiring some jury-rigging to push them upward.
