RobinMatkusti parina · Oct 8The Sala Ayutthaya was the perfect romantic stay for our visit. From our arrival and throughout our stay, the staff made us feel welcomed and cared for. Our room was spacious yet cozy, with a beautiful view of the river and temple - it provided the perfect refuge for a much needed lazy morning. We only wish that we could have stayed another night!

The breakfast was one of the best parts, so much choice, delicious food and all so fresh. We also had dinner one evening and it was delicious with a lovely view.

Prices for drinks and food are way above local standards. It’s okay that a hotel is asking more than a local restaurant but here it is just more expensive than in Germany. The team is friendly but not as kind as I am used to in Thailand.

Stayed in a few Salas - and while they clearly have shared standards on bedding and architecture - felt this one was a real outsider for guest service. The main factor is that the restaurant gets busy with non-guests but the staff don’t tell you to reserve a table. Drilling was from breakfast to sunset so the pool wasn’t relaxing. The bedroom view was of a white wall. Staff repeatedly ask you to fill in Google reviews throughout your stay. Just ask at the end of the- it’s cheap!

Klimaanlage sehr laut auch vom Nachbarzimmer hörbar.
