The Alama was great all around. Some hotels claim to be something they are not but the Alama was what is said to be and more. The pool was amazing. The view can’t be beat. The staff is always curious trusting and helpful. We immediately extended our stay from 2 to 5 nights and are sad to leave
The Alama is absolutely beautiful we came for 2 nights and are staying 5.
We had a lovely stay at this resort. The location is fab with stunning views over the beach, a fantastic pool and a very good breakfast. There are bars, restaurants, a 7-11 and an ATM within a short walk. We could have done with more storage space in the 2 bed villa.
Sur les hauteurs de la plage où il y a les totem du 1° KohLanta, avec un bon resto sur la plage. ET son massage aussi. Beaux bungalows en bois typiques. Piscine surplombant la mer. Personnels au petits soins, comme dans toute la Thaïlande. Je recommande le scooter pour aller vers la vieille ville de Lanta et découvrir le sud, sauvage. Attention aux singes !!

We loved our stay here with stunning views over Kantiang Bay.
Die Unterkunft ist gut gelegen und der Strand ist in 5-10Min. zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und der Service war grundsätzlich auch gut, bis auf 1-2 Kleinigkeiten. Das Frühstück hat uns nicht geschmeckt, weshalb wir auch nur 1x dort gegessen haben. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und die Anlage eigentlich auch. Nur bei genauen Hinschauen sieht man, dass sich z.B. unter dem Bungalow Müll befindet. Man kann für 250 THB einen Roller mieten, was ziemlich ein guter Preis ist für Ko Lanta, wobei man sagen muss, dass die Zustände der Roller (für europäische Verhältnisse) teilweise in schlechtem Zustand sind. Aber die Erfüllen den Zweck und man kann mit ihnen von A nach B fahren. Die Mitarbeiter waren wirklich sehr hilfsbereit und man hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt durch die warme Art der Angestellten.

Die Lage ist grandios, die Aussicht wunderschön. Am Rande des Dorfes, wo es alles gibt was man braucht. Frühstück fand ich besser als die vielen negativen Kommentare, alles da was ich brauchte. Zimmer authentisch thailändisch. Sauberkeit ubd Service pk.
