Khao Sok Paradise Resort

I can not put into words how incredible the staff is at this property. They went out of their way multiple times to help me, and were lovely, polite, helpful and overall amazing. Genuinely, every single person, especially the lovely people at reception deserve all the praise and more. If I ever have the privilege of visiting Khao Sok again (I hope I do), I'll definitely choose this place again. In addition to the staff, Paradise resort is well located. It feels peaceful and secluded, especially from the buzz of the village, but there is a shop, food and all kinds of amenities nearby. The rooms are comfortable (keeping in mind that you are in a jungle) and all the food I had there (2 breakfast, and a lunch) were delicious. The bathroom was also nice and quite large.

This is not specific to Paradise Resort, and will be the same in any accommodations in the area (probably worse, if anything), but there is no stopping some pretty exotic creepy-crawlers from getting into the bathroom. Also, a small note, currently there is construction going on next to the property, so during the day, there is a fair amount of noise from that. Not too bad, and I'd say likely during that time you want to be out, experiencing the adventure of being in this amazing, breathtaking place anyway, but good to know if you for example have kids who sleep during the day or something.

Room was very cosy. Very cool staying elevated in the forest

Wir waren hier nur eine Nacht, jedoch war es wirklich wunderschön, gute Nähe zum Nationalpark und auch den Restaurants Unser Bungalow war super sauber und das Bett sehr angenehm !

We stayed at Khao Sok Paradise Resort for 4 nights and loved it. It's in the jungle so you have to expect the "wet smell" and bugs but we loved it. Our accommodation was very comfortable and the staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for us. The singing of frogs at night was very relaxing.

Bed could have been bigger, because of the need to use a mosquito net, the bed seemed very small for 2 persons. I felt like it was only a double bed, not a queen even, mounted on a very high base, with a mosquito net that touched you if you moved during the night

Nice location and monkey

Estás en la selva, es precioso y cerca de bares y restaurantes.

Había cucarachas en la habitación, aunque entendemos que estamos en la selva. Pero estuvimos 3 noches y todas las noches veíamos cucarachas, la limpieza era deficiente, hacían la cama, basuras y poco más. Pero el baño no lo limpiaban.

Skuffende jungleoplevelse – langt fra den ro og natur, vi havde forventet Vi valgte Khao Sok Paradise Resort, fordi vi drømte om at bo midt i junglen, væk fra larm og store turistmængder, hvor vi kunne nyde stilheden og lydene fra dyrelivet. Desværre blev oplevelsen en helt anden. Resortet var i gang med renoveringsarbejde, og støjen fra motorer og maskiner overdøvede fuldstændig junglens naturlige lyde. Det var bestemt ikke den fredelige naturoplevelse, vi havde glædet os til. Personalet virkede desuden lidt surt og ikke særligt imødekommende, hvilket heller ikke gjorde opholdet bedre. Vi havde også booket en privat night safari med egen guide, netop fordi vi ønskede en mere personlig og autentisk oplevelse af junglen. Men i praksis fulgte vi en fast rute sammen med en masse andre turister. Vi var så tæt på parkens indgang, at vi stadig kunne se lyset derfra. Vi følte aldrig, at vi for alvor kom ind i junglen, og oplevelsen føltes bestemt ikke særlig privat. Vi havde forventet natur, ro og en særlig jungleoplevelse, men fik i stedet byggestøj, en skuffende safari og en atmosfære, der ikke levede op til vores forventninger. Vi endte faktisk med at checke ud en dag før tid. En stor skuffelse, især når man rejser til Khao Sok for at opleve den fantastiske natur og komme væk fra hverdagens støj.

De accommodatie is perfect voor als je er 1 nacht wilt verblijven en de nacht erna wilt slapen op het meer. Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk. Een mooie nieuwe badkamer.

Doordat de airco aan moest in de kamer ivm de warmte werd het snel heel klammig binnen. Hierdoor ontstond er condens op de ramen. Waardoor alles vochtig werd. Het rook binnen ook een beetje muf.
