On our first and only visit to the pool, my partner slipped in the stairs near it (They were wet, as one might expect given the location, and we think the surface was not rough enough to prevent slipping). He hurt is foot and wasn't able to walk unassisted for the next few days. We told the reception and the hotel staff did accommodate our requests (like bringing us a chair for showering, extra pillow, etc.) but didn't once asked how are we or offered help that we didn't ourselves specified and requested. They didn't even asked to see where he slipped to check if there was a safety hazard. The most frustrating thing was we lost our room key card while in the hospital (to check the foot and make sure it wasn't fractured) and were charged 500 Baht for that. We expected some consideration, given the circumstances. After our stay we wrote to the hotel with feedback and shared our disappointment but didn't get a response. Also, the pool is located near the parking lot, and feels exposed and not like a place where someone wants to hang out.

The breakfast was wonderful, the coffee was great, and above all, every single staff member was so lovely and welcoming—from the housekeeping team and receptionists to the servers and even the chefs. They made me feel like family. I will definitely be coming back one day.
