JasonViaggio in solitaria · Jun 21Quiet and comfortable, The Velvet Orchid was a true charm. Kind staff and clean rooms in a beautiful building tucked away from he busy street yet conveniently located for easy walking. I highly recommend The Velvet Orchid and would stay again.
I didn't like that I had to depart.

This beautiful hotel is privately tucked in an alley. It’s quiet with a charming atmosphere. The staff are super kind. I absolutely loved the room with enough space to be comfortable. Clean linens & towels. It is all you need for a long or short stay.
I loved everything!!

Many things didn’t work/ function correctly. They front desk people didn’t understand what we weren’t trying to communicate to solve the problems. The younger one had bad attitude. The receptionist the day we arrived on the other hand was great. Very skimpy with toilet paper and things like that
IanViaggio in solitaria · Mar 14The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property is well located in a quiet part of the old city but just a short walk from restaurants and places of interest. I would certainly stay there again. Good value. My room was excellent and the bed very comfortable.
