RobinViaggio in solitaria · Oct 17The location was fantastic for exploring the old town and the room was spacious, clean and had the most Confatable beds we had on our stay (probably won't appeal to people that like firm mattresses) For a simple hotel we enjoyed our stay and the staff were helpful and happy. Free Netflix is good although you will need Google Translate if you don't read or understand Thai.
There's no lift/elevator, our bad for not checking the description but that's the only negative I could think of.

Just ONE hour after checking in, the exact same receptionist who handed me my room key opened my door and walked right into my room without even knocking. Zero privacy, zero respect, and completely unprofessional. I packed my bags and left immediately because I felt so unsafe. To make matters worse, they even had the nerve to charge me for a full day! Avoid this place at all costs if you value your security and money.

To be honest, there are a few points I just need to get off my chest. First of all, there is no elevator—for anyone with a walking disability, that's a real imposition. Second, the claim about a "private parking space" is simply false; it's just a normal public parking lot where you need a lot of luck to even find a gap. On top of that, the air conditioning doesn't really work well either. But the absolute worst part was the bed: you lie in it like in a sagging hammock and wake up the next morning with serious back pain. There are definitely hotels that manage that better. Since I'm in Phuket at least every other month anyway, I certainly won't be booking here again.
