I had a fantastic stay at TJ Patong Hotel. The location is excellent — just a short walk to Patong Beach, Bangla Road, and plenty of restaurants and shops, yet the hotel is tucked away enough to feel quiet and peaceful. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed — good air-conditioning, a comfy bed, and reliable Wi-Fi. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always smiling, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
I would not recommend this property. It was previously sold as having a pool and on arrival, was told that we needed to go 250mtrs up the road to a "partner hotel" to use their pool instead. The room was dirty, the sheets were dirty and the 5 flights of stairs extremely unsafe carrying luggage.

The worst hotel I’ve seen in my life
Beliggenheden er fint. Nær på alt og kan nås til fods, hvis man vil. Selve hotellet uden elevator. Blev lovet få værelse på anden sal, men endte på femte sal under hele opholdet. Hotellet velegnet for unge rejsende med lav budget.

The owner wouldn't come down so we had to ring Agoda our booking agent who in the end was told the hotel had sold our rooms and they were full. No reception terrible communication don't go there. Left stranded after travelling all day.
Location is ok and is about 15 minutes walk from Bangla Road. Manager of the Hotel was not to be seen, except on the day of checking in. Only cleaning staff comes everyday morning. Cost of stay is ok. Clean room/bathroom.
michaelmendoViaggio in solitaria · Feb 2Solo traveler from California for one month. 32 years old. I stayed here for 5 nights. The staff was absolutely awesome and very helpful, very nice. Two girls ran the front counter. One girl Sea spoke 6 languages! It’s got great restaurants on both sides. It’s just far enough away from the beach and bangala road where it’s more calm. There’s a cool little bar near along with a 7-11. Tv had maybe 40 channels, clean room, comfy bed, fridge, air conditioner and a balcony. I loved it! I’ll see you next time! Thank you! 💚🌴🐘
blissandbearDec 30The good points about the hotel are that the rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is great. The main area that lets it down is the hospitality, as staff do not seem to care. An example is the electricity going off, if it wasn't for my partner and I asking about the power cut, the staff would have never of checked, as the power to reception was on a different circuit. Also the family that own the hotel were messy, leaving trash, food and empty beer bottles out the front of the hotel most nights on tables and chairs that we wanted to sit on - not what you want to see at midday. I feel with some TLC to the rooms and reception, plus some training to staff to improve service, this hotel would easily achieve a 5 star. Hope this is helpful.
