great location, super friendly staff, rooms were nicely decorated and a good size. we would definitely stay again!
Loved the location and the room was ideal for the night, very clean and comfortable, We were upgraded and was very thankful for the extra space.
No cafe/restaurant at the hotel. I am not sure if this is now gone or will come back in the future.
Location it’s ok.
Good location. Staff friendly and helpful
Gut gelegen, Zimmer waren herzig
The location was great for restaurants and sightseeing in the old town. The room was pretty.
Check in process was a little slow. There was no kettle in the room. A communal one was provided downstairs in the hall, though.
The location, very central to Old town. The place when you enter is actually a flower shop, so it does smell good but doesn’t look like the pictures at all. So forget about the cafe boutique vibe
The non access to the pool, it was one of the main reasons I booked that place so it was quite a disappointment. The staff was not helpful at all, not welcoming at all. It seems like it’s the staff of the florist shop and they have nothing to do with the hotel. The bathroom was not clean and when I arrived there were some half dead cockroaches on the floor.
Location. Staff very friendly. Adjacent to florists which smelt amazing. Snacks and coffee great
Bed was solid!!
I would describe my stay at Isara Boutique Hotel and Café as mixed — not terrible, but not my favorite either. On the positive side, I really liked the interior design. The entrance lobby is very cute with lovely decorations, and I especially enjoyed the pond with the koi fish in the lobby — it was incredibly relaxing to sit there and watch them. The location in Old Town is also very good and convenient. A small detail I appreciated was the complimentary green roll cake, which happens to be my favorite — that was a nice touch. The room itself was nicely decorated with a comfortable bed and overall cute interior.
However, there were some downsides. The reception experience felt rather cold and unwelcoming. When I arrived (a bit stressed and sweaty from the heat), I had to wait several minutes before the door was opened, and the check-in process felt very formal and distant rather than warm. The staff were not openly unfriendly, but it felt more like an obligation than genuine hospitality. The next day I asked about using the pool and was informed that it is only available for guests in higher room categories. While I understand that policies are policies — and perhaps I could have avoided the disappointment with more research — it still felt a bit discouraging. I also casually mentioned that it was my birthday during my stay, and there was no reaction at all. Of course, I didn’t expect anything special, but even a simple “happy birthday” would have felt thoughtful. Additionally, the room had a slightly unpleasant smell when I checked in, and I had to air it out and use incense to make it more comfortable. Overall, the hotel has a charming design and a great location, but the service felt lacking in warmth. With a bit more attentiveness and hospitality, the experience could have been much better.
