The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, full of charm, character and warmth, with so much attention to detail. But what touched me the most was the genuine warmth of the people. The smiles, the kindness, the little thoughtful gestures and the way I was welcomed made me feel truly special. Nothing felt forced or simply part of a service — it felt sincere and came from the heart. A very special thank you to the owner, whose kindness and warmth touched me deeply. I genuinely felt like I was being welcomed as part of a family, not treated as just another guest. As a solo traveller, that feeling means so much. Thank you for all the smiles, the kindness and the beautiful energy. ❤️ Songkhla Tae Raek Boutique is so much more than a hotel — it feels like a home away from home. I leave with beautiful memories and I truly hope I will have the chance to come back one day. 🌿✨

Matress need to be thicker as the bed frane is very hard. Water have to be delivered automatically each day, without asking each time

Although the rooms are well appointed, we struggled not having a window and also found the bed too hard, so didn’t sleep the best.

They even have a nice buggy for us to visit places around the hotel. THB300 for 1 hour trip or just THB50 for pick up or drop off. Very convenient. Nice little antique hotel. Not crowded at all.

David IanViaggio in solitaria · Jun 16Songkhla is a well-kept secret in the south of Thailand. The old Town is gradually being restored thoughtfully and tastefully. This hotel is a MUST, beautifully decorated and furnished and impeccably clean, like the town. There is no kitchen, but breakfast, lunch and dinner, ordered from local establishments, can be delivered and served in the lounge/bar area. Perfect. I asked one of the boys for a guided Tuk-tuk tour of the old quarter/beach area which lasted a couple of hours. Cool!! I chose a room with an amazing Chinese four-poster bed. One downside (for some) of this room is no natural light/ view, but most of the time I spent in my room, my eyes we're closed.... The owner and his wife are perfectly charming, as are all the staff, and have other beautifully restored properties nearby to visit - gallery/art shop etc. Don't even think about relationship quality/price.
I tried to visit all the amazing Coffee Shops (REAL coffee...) but there are so many that I failed...
