LuciaViaggio in famiglia · Oct 13The staff was amazing, very friendly, hospitable, kind and nice; they were very welcoming and accommodating, huge thanks to them all! The hotel is very close to both Kata and Karon beaches, just a walking distance (10, max. 15 minutes) away. There is a shuttle bus that can take you to one of the beaches; it also takes you from down the road up to the hotel, because the road to the hotel is pretty steep. The location is very convenient, 7-11 is like a minute or two down the hill from the hotel to the main road. And all the restaurants and shops are close by. The bed was huge and comfy, we had a mountain-view balcony and could see a little piece of Big Buddha.
The hill up to the hotel is steep, but there is a shuttle bus that can take you up, so no problem. Unfortunately, the pool is being renovated :( We were free to use the other two belonging to the neighbouring hotel, but no problem, they are very very close and functioning. (This is probably a standard), but what irritated us was that you could only have lights on when the room card was in its designated pocket. That is when the air-con is on as well and it is not warm. Unfortunately, when you want to have lights on, you also have to have the air-con on. Not very convenient at night (when you want to read a book without freezing).

В ванной абсолютно некуда повесить мокрое полотенце, только что положить мокрой кучкой у раковины и ждать его замены на следующий день. На жаре душ принимаешь несколько раз в день, мокрое полотенце становится проблемой. После принятия душа весь пол на территории туалета и раковины мокрый. Уборка на 6 из 10.
HarleyViaggio in solitaria · Jun 25Amazing staff. Everyone was super accommodating and friendly. Location is great, right between Kata and Karon. Close enough to walk if you want, far enough to feel quiet and private. The shuttle bus up and down the driveway is a godsend 😅 I did the poolside cooking class and couldn't recommend enough 👌 and the pool bar is awesome. Will definitely come back when I'm in the area.
Only downside and it's a small one, is that its a decent sized resort, and my room was on the top level in the back corner, so it was a hike to the pool and restaurant... but hey, someone has to get the short straw on that one.
AndreasViaggio di coppia · Jun 13The room I had originally booked was not just worn out and dirty but also had a massive water leak. The new room I got at the partner hotel next door, Peach Hill, was nicely renovated.
The hill the hotel sits on is absolutely brutal. They offer a shuttle, but that is rarely practical. The room I had was also crazy noisy, with a Greek restaurant playing live cover band music outside. Some parts of the hotel are in a pretty worn out condition.
