Railay Village Resort & Spa

We really liked the property and its excellent location. Unfortunately, our experience with the staff fell short of expectations. The level of English at reception was quite limited, which made communication difficult, and we also felt that the service lacked friendliness and a genuinely welcoming attitude. It’s a shame, as the property itself and its location have great potential.

Unfortunately, our stay was affected by a significant issue from the very first night. There was no hot water in our room, and although a technician was sent to fix the problem, we were informed that the repair would take some time. As a temporary solution, we were given access to another room simply to take a shower, with the assurance that the problem in our room would be completely resolved by the following morning. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The next morning, we still had no hot water, and only then were we offered a different room. This meant having to pack and move all our belongings after already spending an uncomfortable first night, causing us considerable inconvenience and unnecessary disruption to our stay. We understand that technical problems can happen, but we were particularly disappointed with the way the situation was handled and the fact that the problem was not properly resolved when first reported. For a hotel of this standard, we expected a quicker and more effective solution, especially after being assured that everything would be fixed by the following morning.

The resort is on the beach & the location is nice. The beach itself is also nice. The rooms are fine.

The restaurant was horrible with Bad food, Horrible services & Very ignorant stuff. The don't even care about the customers. We ordered food, that was never delivered but it was mentioned on the bill. When we we asked why, they told it's mot possible for them to take it out & we have to eat it some other day. We haven't seen anything like this anywhere else. If you are staying here, avoid the restaurant. Breakfast options were limited & not really good. The resort it was not that great, at least its not 4 star at all. The services were not up to the mark. the scope of improvements are plenty.

Access to the beach and walking street was great. Fun to have a 'jacuzzi' room to retreat to whenever it rained. Lovely staff

Was a bit disconcerting seeing the huge monitor lizards everywhere - would have liked to have been told about these and told not to worry.

המיקום טוב והפוטנציאל גדול אבל נראה שהתחזוקה במקום ברמה נמוכה. ארוחת הבוקר היתה בסיסית אך סבירה.

הריח בתוך החדר ולידו היה נורא ואיום ריח חריף של ביוב שעשה לנו בחילה נוראית וברחנו אחרי לילה אחד. היה המון אבק בחדר אבל מה ששבר אותנו היה הריח. פשוט בלתי נסבל.
