Nous avons aimé la gentillesse du personnel et la nourriture excellente du restaurant. Les équipements sont très bien entretenus, les lits sont très confortables et la piscine est superbe 😍 ! L'hôtel est très très propre, vraiment exceptionnel, le jardin est magnifique et très bien entretenu! Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir cet hôtel quasiment pour nous (hors saison ici), c'était fabuleux. Nous avons également fait une excursion mémorable, organisée en partie par l'hôtel.

Si nous devons vraiment chercher quelque chose, les lumières étaient un peu faibles dans la chambre et la SDB. Sinon aucune autre remarque négative sur notre séjour.

We were looking for a well deserved rest at Kanchanaburi from the hectic schedule we had in Bangkok since the last few weeks and we chance upon Plakan Resort after having studied some reviews. We had a 2 nights 3 days experiences at this resort and was not a least disappointed. We were well received at the front counter, greeted by a team of enthusiastic and warm staffs. Even the welcome drinks of lemon tea, brings a flash of refreshment. For a moment I thought we were in a museum, the lobby was littered with "good old days" every day items that bring me back to my younger days! Every items were meticulously arranged and taken care for. There is an old black and white TV showing old Japanese movies! I couldn't believe my eyes! Check in was fast and orderly. The next surprise was the size of the and the high ceiling! The bed is so huge that I need to roll 2 times to reach my wife 😂😆 and they were generous with the pillows too. You can do "breakdance" in the toilet too! 😆 The owner take alot of pain to design and build this resort. The rooms are soundproof ya! 😲 The whole surrounding area brings a sense of isolation from all the cities noises. Right in the heart of the resort, stands a magnificent Log House with is their eating place cum restaurant. Super high ceiling with a smell of old country side. We spend pretty much of our stay at the restaurant and mind you, the food is really good 👍👍😊 Every one of their staffs and well trained to advise us on the places to go and the best choice of food in their menu. Very attractive in their service which impressed us as it's difficult to find services of this standard! Good job guys! if there is a 6 stars we will give it to them! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Management are all ears for feedbacks and commendations! Should be coming back again. This impression will carry with us for sometime. ( Handicap friendly too)

This is my second stay at Plakan Resort, and once again, I am truly impressed. One of the highlights of this hotel is the in-house museum, which adds a unique and memorable touch to the experience. The staff are exceptional—the busboy in particular stood out for his genuine kindness and warm demeanor every time I passed by. The reception team is equally polite and welcoming, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. During my first stay, I booked a superior room, which was spacious, comfortable, and thoroughly enjoyable. I was so impressed that I decided to return for the Songkran holiday and upgrade to a river-view suite—and it exceeded all expectations. The suite is simply incredible. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a coffee bar near the entrance. It features a large living room overlooking the river, a spacious bedroom, two toilets, two refrigerators, and an impressive bathroom. And yes—three balconies, each offering a beautiful perspective of the surroundings. It truly feels like a little slice of heaven in Kanchanaburi. The restaurant also deserves special mention. The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is outstanding, making every meal a pleasure. Staying here, it’s clear that the owner takes great pride in the property. That pride reflects in the attention to detail, the high standards, and the genuine care shown by the staff throughout the hotel. I highly recommend Plakan Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful getaway. I was truly sad to leave, but I’m already looking forward to returning in the near future.

ที่พักดี อาหารเย็นอร่อย (ระบบจัดการดี ให้สั่งอาหารไว้ล่วงหน้าตั้งแต่ตอนเช็คอิน แจ้งจองเวลา มาถึงจะได้กินเลย) มีจุดให้ถ่ายรูปในที่พักเยอะ มีพิพิธภัณฑ์ของเก่าให้เยี่ยมชม เป็นที่พักที่ใครมาเที่ยวกาญจนบุรี ควรมาลองพักที่นี่ ภายในห้องพักก็ตั้งใจก่อสร้างให้เก็บเสียง และคัดสรรวัสดุอุปกรณ์ได้ดี ชอบฝักบัวที่นี่มาก อาบน้ำสนุก ในห้องน้ำมีการติดกระจกแต่งหน้าให้ สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก: ที่จอดรถ ฟิตเนส สระว่ายน้ำ (น้ำในสระสะอาดใช้ได้) สนามเด็กเล่น ห้องอาหาร

Extremely well maintained and appointed facility. My wife is a fanatic about cleanliness and they passed with flying colors. Extras like a pod style coffee maker and even a bathroom scale. The breakfast was very nice with a good selection and the staff were very polite and helpful. Khun Wei in the restaurant was exceptional. Great value for money, easy to find and a nice parking lot. We were initially concerned that it was close to the main road and it would be noisy but we never heard anything at night. The rooms had very good curtains so there was no light early in the morning.

I really don't have anything that I didn't like but if I really want to nit pick I did find the WiFi to be a bit sporatic.

ארוחת בוקר לא מותאמת לישראלים אין גבינות ואין ירקות לרוב שרימפס בייקון ולא מצאנו מה לאכול בבוקר

מקום מקסים ומפנק, שירות נעים ואדיב במיוחד. הבריכה, המסעדה, הכל היה מאוד מפנק

המיקום קצת מרוחק מאתרי האטרקציות. אך קרוב למרכז העיר

המלון עצמו נהדר, החדרים מאוד נקיים ומרווחים, צוות מקסים עזר בהכל. יש בריכה חמודה. נהר צמוד אבל אי אפשר להתרחץ בו. מלון שקט ורגוע.

מרוחק מהעיר, נסיעה של 10 דקות במונית. יש רעש מהכביש הראשי , לבקש חדרים פנימיים. ארוחת בוקר נחמדה. ביצים ירקות לחם, ועוד דברים לא כשרים.

Ingen möjlighet att låna cykel eller hyra vespa. Hotellet ligger avsides. Transportmedel är önskvärt om man vill se sig omkring och äta någona annanstans än på hotellet.
