Vue magnifique de l’île Koh nangyuan. Très pratique pour y accéder. Petite déjeuner copieux

Hôtel isoler, pas de grab ni taxi pour se déplacer. Très grande pente pour monter dans les chambres. On a du changé de chambre car ne correspondait pas à la réservation donc on a été mis dans une suite familiale et la salle de bain en extérieur de la chambre c’était pas pratique .

Terrific time all round, highly reccommend

We booked this place fairly last minute and with little knowledge and were really impressed with the stunning location and setting. Low season meant excellent value and was quite quiet. We did a day long boat private snorkel tour (arranged ourselves) around the island and it was our highlight. The hotel staff were friendly and most spoke excellent English. Can snorkel right out the front. The pools were lovely and clean. It’s awat from the main town area so no noise at night. We had a terrific time!

The beds are quite firm but most beds in Thailand seem to be like this. Firm beds and huge pillows. We booked a family room and felt a little uncomfortable that our children had to go outside to then come to our room. The cost of Taxis on Koh Tao are very expensive (we live in the most expensive town in New Zealand and the taxi’s are even more expensive dive than where we come from) Most people use motor bikes but I wasn’t comfortable to ride one with a child so had to use taxi’s. The hotel offers some included transfers but more times would have been useful. Perhaps there was less times offered as we stayed in low season? (Oct 2026).

- das Gebäude neben dem oberen Pool wird gerade saniert. Daher wird die Entspannung mit Kreissägengeräuschen untermalt. - bei Einbruch der Nacht kommen sehr viele Kröten raus und quaken schon recht laut um die Wette.

Nice but you need to be a gym junkie to cope with this one

The resort is beautiful. We stayed in treasure hillside room with private pool. The general staff ( cleaners, front desk, bell boys, gardeners etc) were very friendly and helpful.

However be prepared for a full workout anytime you need to leave your room. The restaurant, pools, bars are all on the bottom level of the resort. If you are in the higher rooms you will have a very steep 300m climb down or up every time. There is no easy way up. Its a killer. If you are young and fit, no problem but middle aged and up you will struggle. We had rats running around on our patios every night No wifi for 2 days and communication was very poor from staff No smoking in any public areas at the resort, you have little designated smoking areas. No smoking around pools either. If you are a non smoker you will like this rule but for the smokers you will end up just staying in your room in the clouds because it is just too hard here and you are made to feel like a leper if you smoke. Upper management was rude, no smiling at guests or making you feel welcome. We were glad to head back to Samui.

Man möchte wohl luxuriöser sein, als man ist...

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr schön. Man muss sich aber bewusst sein, dass es keinen Strand hat und die Anlage abgeschieden liegt. Im Meer baden geht schon, es bietet sich zum Schnorcheln an. Die Pool-Anlage und das Restaurant sind die die Highlights. Die Integration der Anlage in die Hanglage mit Felsen und Natur ist schön gelöst. Aber....

Es hat viele unordentliche Ecken in der ganzen Anlage. An vielen Stellen wurde mal etwas repariert aber nicht fertig gemacht oder das übrige Material einfach liegen gelassen. Aktuell sind einige Renovationsarbeiten im Gange (welche auch nötig sind....). Von unserem Zimmer aus musste man sich auf das Meer und den Horizont konzentrieren um nicht auf das Bau-Chaos unterhalb zu sehen. Die Badezimmer waren ein reines gebastel. Das bringt jeder Hobby-Handwerker besser hin (Bsp. WC Ring passt nicht auf Schüssel, die ganzen Armaturen sind lose). Steinharte Matratzen! Ich hoffe all die angefangen Renovationsarbeiten werden zu Ende geführt. So wird der bei diesem Preis zu erwartende Standard dann vielleicht erfüllt.
