Avani Plus Khao Lak Resort

The rooms were spacious, very clean and very comfortable with very good amenities. There are nice pools, lush gardens and a great gym. The location is right on the beach which is beautiful. The buffet breakfast is also of a very good standard with alit of choice

There is a large kids pool, with another large pool attached which is enough for families with children. There are 2 more small pools which should be kept for older children 12+ and adults as when relaxing there , we experienced alot of kids screaming and could not relax as we would like. Also the gym should state NO CHILDREN, firstly for health/safety and secondly, when you are working out the last thing you want is small children running around a gym when there are plenty of facilities in this hotel for children.

The property is inclusive with direct access to the beach surrounded by beautiful well tended garden throughout. The building we stayed has elevator that fit our needed (we brought our 93 years old with us). Staff of all level were so polite, full of hospitality and eager to offer help. The breakfast was delicious and nice airy breakfast room.

This was truly one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the incredible friendliness of the staff, the exceptional cleanliness, and, of course, the amazing food. We stayed for 13 days and honestly, we still didn’t manage to try everything on the menu! Biw made our stay absolutely spectacular. She is a true asset to the hotel and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. She was always checking in on us, and her genuine care and kindness made such a difference to our experience. I have a serious food allergy, and the two chefs from Elements were absolutely wonderful. They personally came out to speak with me, made sure I always had plenty of safe options to eat, and took the time to explain the different dishes on the buffet. Their attention to detail and concern for my wellbeing gave me complete peace of mind and was greatly appreciated. The girl wearing the apron at the beach bar were also fantastic. She would come down to us while we were relaxing on the beach and ask what we would like to drink. Such thoughtful service made us feel truly pampered. Night was always so friendly, welcoming, and happy to see us. In fact, every member of staff we encountered, even the gardeners, would greet us with a smile. It created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the entire resort. The animals were another highlight of our stay. We absolutely loved seeing them, and I can only imagine how much children would enjoy that special experience. By the end of our 13 days, we really did not want to go home! This hotel gave us such a wonderful experience, and the staff made us feel like more than just guests—they made us feel genuinely cared for. We will definitely be back. You haven’t seen the last of us!
