What Pinns is

Pinns — «Pins & Inns» — is a marketplace. Hosts offer places to stay; providers offer tours, classes and other activities; guests book them. You can reach us at contact@pinns.io.

We are an intermediary, not the seller. The contract for a stay or an activity is made between you and the host, on the terms shown in that listing. We do not own the properties, do not run the tours and are not a party to the contract. Our own obligations to you are limited to operating the platform: search, booking, payment handling, messaging and dispute support.

Your account

You need an account to book or to publish a listing, you must be 18 or older, and the details you give must be true. Keep your credentials to yourself — anything done through your account counts as done by you until you tell us it was not.

Booking and payment

  • A booking becomes binding when the host accepts it, or immediately where the listing is marked as instant.
  • For hosted listings, payment is held in an escrow programme on the Solana network and is released to the host after check-in. We never take custody of the money.
  • For rooms sold through an external supplier, payment is taken by card at the time of booking and the reservation is confirmed by the hotel.
  • The price shown includes our commission unless stated otherwise. Local taxes and fees charged on arrival are the host's.

Cancellation and refunds

Each listing states its own cancellation terms, and they are what applies to your booking. A refund is returned along the same route the payment took.

Because accommodation and leisure services booked for a specific date are exempt from it, the EU right of withdrawal does not apply to these bookings. Your rights under the cancellation terms of the listing are unaffected.

If something goes wrong

Raise it with the host first — most things are settled in the chat. If that leads nowhere, open a dispute on the booking. Where payment sits in escrow, an arbiter reviews both sides and splits the held amount accordingly; the platform fee leg is applied as described in the listing.

Rules for hosts

  • List only what you may lawfully offer, hold the permits your local law requires, and keep availability and prices accurate.
  • Identity verification is required before earnings can be paid out.
  • Ranking in search is based on how well a listing matches the query — location, dates, guest count, price and guest ratings. Paying us more does not move a listing up.
  • We may suspend or remove a listing that breaks these terms or the law. Except where the law or an authority requires otherwise, we give you the reasons and 30 days' notice before terminating your access, and you may object through the complaint route below.
  • Data you generate on the platform — your listings, bookings and messages — stays available to you for export.

What you may not do

No unlawful, misleading or infringing content; no fake listings or reviews; no taking the deal off-platform to avoid fees; no scraping, probing or overloading the service; no impersonation.

Reporting content

Anything on Pinns can be reported to legal@pinns.io: tell us what and where, and why it is unlawful. We confirm receipt, decide without undue delay, and tell you the decision and how to contest it. The same address is our point of contact for authorities and for users under the Digital Services Act.

Our liability

We are liable for operating the platform, not for what a host delivers. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death, personal injury, intent or gross negligence, or under consumer law where it applies to you.

Law and disputes

A stay or an activity is governed by the law of the country where it takes place — that is where the service is delivered and where the host operates.

For a dispute with us about the platform itself: if you are a consumer, the mandatory law of your country of residence applies and you may bring a claim before your local courts. Nothing here takes that away from you. Consumers in the EU may also use the online dispute resolution platform of the European Commission.

Changes

We announce material changes at least 15 days before they take effect, or 30 days for hosts. Continuing to use Pinns after that means you accept them; if you do not, close your account before the date.
