We booked for a weekend trip to Chiang Mai and I would recommend Goldenbell. We really enjoyed the staff. They were super friendly and extremely courteous. The breakfast was good for the price, and the street food and vendors a short 2 minute walk from the hotel was perfect.

Lovely staff at this hotel, right next to the Saturday walking street market and only a 10 minute walk away from the Sunday night walking street. Breakfast was ok, good coffee. Room was spacious and sheets/bed was comfy.

Quiet hotel away from the main road. A dated hotel but had charm and character, sometimes I get fed up of fancy hotels and this one was old and tired but with lovely clean rooms with everything you would need. Free water and bathroom amenities. The price was cheap and affordable and in keeping with what the hotel offers, we walked easily into the town. The pool area is not great but it’s there and functional and so if you just want a cool dip then it’s perfect.

This hotel is awesome for the money. It’s close to a night market and good area for walking. The hotel felt clean, up to date, nicely decorated and very very quiet at night. The staff is friendly and very attentive to your needs. I had weird check-in and check-out times which were not a problem. It’s not the Ritz but very nice nonetheless. I recommend it!
