PaulAlleinreise · Aug 31Location, location, location. Access to pool from room. Right in the heart of Kamala beach.
The bed was extremely hard.
FionaReise als Paar · Aug 22Great location on the beach, large room, lovely staff, bath and shower. Could accommodate a late checkout.
Located next to a bar so you can hear the music even in the room during the day. Music stops at 10pm.
I had booked a stay at Layalina because I was genuinely excited about bringing my 67-year-old mother to Phuket for her birthday. We booked the 90 sqm Duplex Private Ocean View with Rooftop and were looking forward to what was supposed to be a very special mother-son trip. This is just a boutique hotel, yet the attitude from reception was as though they were operating at the level of a major international luxury brand such as Pullman, Hyatt or Marriott except the basic customer service I experienced was nowhere close to what I would expect from those brands. For me, the problem is not whether the hotel is big or small; it is the attitude towards the guest. I am travelling with an elderly mother but again, Thats the problem
ChristineAlleinreise · Aug 7So close to the beach and along the main strip
The top floor with the sun beds could be utilised a bit better, feels unfinished
