Shewe Wana Boutique Hotel

Wir sind mit dem Nachtzug nach Chiang Mai und vom Bahnhof zu Fuß zum Hotel. Freundlicherweise durften wir auch schon früher einchecken. Liebevoll im Thai Stil eingerichtete Zimmer, erfrischender Pool, leckeres Frühstück, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Angeschlossen ist ein vegetarisches Restaurant. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Lieben Dank!

The swimming pool was nice, hours are restricted to 8 pm, there is parking on site for a bike or a rental car.

The location was really disappointing. Yes, there are some shops around, but not really the kind of shops or amenities a tourist would need. The hotel feels quite isolated, so you’ll either need a car or be prepared to pay for transportation every time you want to go somewhere. The smoking area was extremely small and inconveniently far away. My room was also very noisy at night because there was a business behind the hotel that closed late and opened early, so getting a good night’s sleep was difficult. I also really disliked the fake flowers placed in the trees—it made the whole place feel artificial rather than charming. The food at the hotel is vegetarian only, which is something guests should be aware of. Coffee in the morning was basically nonexistent, and if you want a proper coffee, you have to wait until the nearby coffee shops open around 9 a.m. Unfortunately, I disliked this hotel from the moment I arrived, and my experience didn’t improve during my stay. I personally wouldn’t choose to stay here again

The staff was always very friendly, polite and helpful. The security guard was also very helpful when I got injured. The room was cleaned everday eventhough I didn't ask. The staff overall, are great!

We stayed one night close to the train station as we had an early morning train to catch the next day. A bit out from the centre of CM, but a pleasant hotel and appreciated the vegan restaurant!

A real gem. Every staff member was so helpful. The room was spotless and free bottled water was provided daily to reduce plastic bottle use. The pools were beautiful. Great position - a 20min walk across the river into old town, with plenty of nearby bars and restaurants. The breakfast was a highlight - snack but good quality buffet with freshly cooked main meal. Would absolutely recommend.

There was no place to smoke. I had to go out on the street to have a cigarette. They should have allowed smoking near the pool or on the balcony.

Nice staff and excellent breakfast

We don’t mind walking but the location was a bit far from good restaurants, sights, etc. Both pools were icy cold as it was January but should warm up later in the year. The doors to each room were locked using a key and padlock on the outside , which is understandable because they are apparently using the original heritage doors of the building - but it’s a bit odd. Which means when inside your room the doors need to be secured by a sliding piece of wood.

Het is een knus, sfeervol boutiquehotel, circa 30 minuten lopen van de Old City. Een goed a la carte ontbijt en prima zwembad met fijne ligbedden. Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel en schoon!
