The rooms were clean, but one of them had a persistent, very unpleasant smell. The air conditioning unit is installed very close to the bed and blows directly onto your head while you're sleeping, which is quite uncomfortable. We booked and paid extra for two rooms with a city view, but there was no view at all. In fact, it seems there are no rooms with a city view in the building. We were also required to pay a cash-only deposit of 1,000 THB per room (not indicated when booking), even though we were staying for just one night.
THAQIFAH AQILAHReise in der Gruppe · Jul 22It is in the middle of the city. Walking distance to a lot of places. Easy access to food and places. Room size is a bit small, but the bed was very comfortable after a long day of walking.
Due to road construction, the area always had bad traffic. It is faster to walk from one place to another rather than taking taxi/grab. Grab driver always had difficulties to pick up due to no waiting space. Make sure to wait at the pick up spot (I always choose to walk a bit and wait in front of McDonald which is easier for the driver to pick up)
