My family and I have just got back from another fantastic trip to Thailand. For the majority of this trip we stayed on Koh Chang and after 15 years since we first visited, but this time with the children, it didn't disappoint. For our first 5 nights we wanted something with a definite chillout vibe and location seemed to favour the East coast for this. After looking at a few accommodation we settled on the Serenity Resort. This was a great decision as we absolutely loved it here. The resort was still quite close to the ferry port and took less than 10 minutes to get there from the port. We arrived and was immediately impressed with what we saw. The staff quickly checked us in and took us to our two bedroom villa. We had villa #3 and this was perfect for us. The villa was very clean, spacious, had a small kitchen area with large fridge to store some drinks etc. My two daughters had their own en suite room which was one of the reasons we chose the resort and there was a large living room with sofa and a TV. We also had our own terrace with some chairs and could see the pool and sea beyond. The bonus of a villa was the roof terrace and plunge pool. This was great, especially after dark, as the kids could chill in the small pool and we could sit under the night sky enjoying the peace and quiet. The setting is as the name of the resort suggests, very serene. You are right on the beach, with stunning views across to the mainland. The main infinity pool was immaculately clean and very refreshing in the heat. We loved spending our days chilling by the pool, enjoying the really well kept gardens or on the many chairs, loungers or big cushions that allow you to take in the peace, views and ambiance. The bar and restaurant area was excellent. The drinks were very reasonable, beers, wines, soft drinks and especially the many freshly prepared cocktails on offer.

Nothing, it is an excellent Resort.

We had a villa, spacious and with fab roof top jacuzzi seating and sunbathing area. Serenity certainly lived up to its name . The staff and food was excellent and the service attentive and cost very reasonable for the quality . We extended our stay to 10 nights

Not much, the bar shut a little earlier than we wanted but not a major problem

It's a little paradise! Beautiful place, with a big pool, really well maintained, super friendly and helpful staff, very tasty food (both the Thai food and western style food for the kids)

It's on the quiet site of the island, which we enjoyed, but keep in mind that supermarket/ other restaurants can only reached by car

Personalet var søde og hjælpesomme og rigtig god mad

Wij hadden villa met dompelbad. Op het dak stond/ dompelbad/ jacuzzi met groot zitgedeelte en eet gelegenheid. Huisje was met 2 slaapkamers en beide eigen badkamer. In de keuken kon je koken maar eten in het restaurant was top en goed betaalbaar. Dus wij hebben meer daar gegeten. Personeel heel vriendelijk en leuk met de kinderen. Huisje wordt goed onderhouden en schoongemaakt. Al het personeel bij receptie en bediening spreken heel goed Engels en dat is zeldzaam in Thailand.

Bij ons was het vrij rustig. Maar daardoor juist als vip behandeld. Je moet wel scooter huren om ergens te komen. Ligt best afgelegen. Maar als je scooter bij Hotel huurt ben je binnen 10 minute in het drukke gedeelte. Wij vonden de afwisseling juist fijn. Als we drukte willen gingen we op pas. Als je rust wou kon je je lekker terug trekken in je villa of rustig eten in restaurant.

Pięknie położony, cisza spokój czysto i przemiły personel

Het personeel was ongelooflijk lief. Het zwembad heerlijk en erg proper onderhouden. De bungalows zijn ruim, proper en hebben heel goeie airco.

Niks slechts op te merken.

Personalet er hele turen værd. De møder dig hver dag med et smil og laver fantastisk mad. De er meget behjælpsomme og kundeminded :) Roen, udsigten og godt humør var lige hvad vi havde brug for.

Poolen oppe på terrassen kunne godt trænge til en ordentlig rens, og måske en blødere pude. MEN det er småting :)
