P.D. Beach Resort

Das Zimmer hatte einen schönen Meerblick, war geräumig und durch den Standort des Bettes, war es etwas besonderes. An dem kleinen Abschnitt neben dem Hotel kann man sehr gut schnorcheln. Das Curry was ich im Restaurant bestellt habe, war sehr lecker. Es leben dort viele süße Katzen.

Insgesamt entspricht der Zustand dieses Resorts nicht den Fotos und nicht dem Preis. Vieles ist heruntergekommen, müsste gestrichen, oder erneuert werden. Freiliegende Leitungen, Rost, Flecken und zB fehlende Treppenstufen, die durch Säcke/Steine ersetzt wurden prägen das Gesamtbild. Es gibt leider keine Möglichkeit dort einen richtigen Urlaubstag zu verbringen, keine Liegen oder Sonnenschirme, keine Cocktails, die man am Strand genießen kann (es gibt Mocktails) und eine schmale gastronomische Auswahl, haben mich sehr enttäuscht, sodass ich das Resort nur zum Schlafen genutzt habe und am Tag netterweise von einem anderen Resort aufgenommen wurde, mit Handtuch, Pool und großer Auswahl an Cocktails und Snacks. Es gibt auch keinen Shuttleservice und man ist sehr abgeschnitten, muss für alles ein teures Taxi rufen. Das Personal spricht so gut wie kein englisch, bei einer Situation standen wir zu viert in meinem Zimmer weil man mir zeigen wollte, dass ich nachts etwas auf das Bettlaken menstruiert hatte, konnte aber nicht erklären, was man von mir wollte. Maximal unangenehm. Ich denke es ging um extra kosten für eine Reinigung. Habe dann mit google Übersetzer die Leute gebeten, mein Zimmer zu verlassen, nachdem 10 Minuten rund um das blutige Bettlaken auf Thai diskutiert wurde. Ich würde diese Unterkunft nicht weiterempfehlen.

In erster Linie die Lage,wer Ruhe und ein tolles Schnorchelgebiet sucht ist hier genau richtig .

Zuerst waren wir in einem Bungalow untergebracht,der seine besten Tage schon lange hinter sich hat.Erst auf unserer Anfrage hin konnten wir in einen bereits neueren Bungalow für die letzte Nacht umziehen.dieBilder die hier eingestellt sind entsprechen nicht der Realität..im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften ist der Preis nicht angemessen.

We loved the beautiful sea view, the very comfortable bed and how clean and fresh the room was every day. The beach is literally right in front of the hotel and was one of the most beautiful beaches we saw in Thailand. The breakfast had a good variety, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We also really appreciated being able to rent a brand-new motorbike directly from the hotel.

The only things we found a little disappointing were the low water pressure in the bathroom and the Wi-Fi, which was quite weak in our room. However, the Wi-Fi worked very well in the breakfast area and on the terrace.

Pas de wifi, petit déjeuner très sommaire et habitations très simples et manque de placard pour déballer les valises et aucun étendoir pour f et ure sécher le linge et l’eau chaude fonctionne une fois sur deux.

The staff were very nice and accomodating. The included breakfast is delicious, we had the Omelette w/rice and the pancake every morning. Our room was very spacious, with a nice balcony and great bathroom. Netflix etc on the tv was a nice touch. The staff also cleaned our room daily, topped up our coffee and water, and provided new towels after 2 nights. The private beach was very peaceful, great for snorkelling and the sunset. Snorkel hire at the resort is only 50 Baht with no deposit too! Road to get there is quite hilly but standard for the island, we had no problems on our scooter - would recommend 150cc if you have 2 ppl. The location is great, easy to access the east side of the island, we enjoyed the short drive to tanote bay.

The property has a beautiful beachfront setting, and several other guests in our wedding group stayed in rooms that were much nicer than the bungalow I was assigned. The staff were kind and friendly throughout our stay. Unfortunately, I sustained a significant leg injury while using the stairs leading to my bungalow early in my stay, which prevented me from enjoying the beach or swimming for the remainder of my visit. While the location itself is beautiful, my assigned room did not match my expectations based on the listing.

The bungalow I was assigned did not match the condition presented in the Booking.com listing. The room showed visible water damage, patched ceiling repairs, unfinished areas, worn flooring, and an exposed concrete bed platform, giving it a much more worn appearance than expected. During my stay, I sustained a significant leg injury while using the stairs leading to my bungalow. The wound later developed a staph infection requiring medical treatment and antibiotics, which prevented me from swimming or fully enjoying the beach, pool, and many of the activities I had planned for the remainder of my trip. I have provided Booking.com with photographs documenting the condition of the room, the stairs, my injury, and my medical treatment and hope they will review the matter thoroughly.

The beach had litter and no signs on how to respect the coral reef.

Het strandje en de zee. Echt verbluffend mooi. Het restaurant was ook erg goed.

De locatie. Je bent afhankelijk van een scooter las ik in de recensies. Ook werd er gesproken van een heuvelachtige ligging. Ons gezin kijkt hier anders naar: het ligt echt enorm afgelegen van alle levendigheid van het eiland. Daar kozen we voor dus daar kunnen we niet over klagen. Maar de locatie ligt op een vreselijk stijle berg waar wij met een dochter van 8 niet tegenop durfden te rijden met een scooter. Totaal onverantwoord. Je bent echt afhankelijk van dure taxi's. En als je dan nog op een mooi resort zit.. maar dat is zeker niet zo. Het was er uitgestorven, de verblijven zijn echt heel erg basic en echt overal ligt troep. Het is natuurlijk ook een beetje onze eigen schuld. We snappen dat als je b.v. solo reist en je echt op zoek bent naar rust en stilte én ervaring hebt met scooter rijden.. dat deze plek echt heerlijk is. Maar met een kind vonden wij het echt buitengewoon onhandig. Om die reden na een dag weer vertrokken en een mooi resort op Ko Samui uitgezocht.
