gbmillionVoyage en famille · Oct 15This is a compact hotel in a narrow street with small rooms (by Bangkok standards) but good standard for all furnishing and fittings. The room is quiet and everything works well. There is a small table with ergonomic office chair suitable for doing computer work. Coffee Club cafe is attached to the hotel. Breakfast was OK, but nothing special. We passed on it and went to the Park Silom mall, 500 meters away for breakfast and had delicious dim sum. If you want a functional hotel of good standard in this location, this is the one.
Only a few quibbles: No power plug on the left side of the bed (only on the right). Shower drain very noisy. Unprofessional night time staff member fobbed me off when I asked to borrow a lighter with a stupid reason, "because we don't allow smoking inside." Duh! I was going outside where tables were set up with ash trays. Duh! She could have said, "ask the doorman". The daytime staff were efficient and professional.
