Is Pinns free?
Yes. There is no subscription: trips, travel companions, the city chat and meetups are free. You pay only for the stays and activities you book.
How do I see who else is traveling to my city?
Add your trip — a city and dates. You then see the other travelers who will be there on the same days, ranked by the days you overlap, your languages and interests.
Who can see my trip?
Other travelers see the city and the dates, never the place you stay. Your gender is private, and blocked or suspended accounts never see you.
What does “verified by booking” mean?
The trip comes from a booking made on Pinns, so the traveler really is going. If the booking is cancelled, the badge goes away.
How is identity verified?
With a photo of an ID document and a live selfie, checked against each other. A verified traveler gets a badge, and women-only and men-only meetups require it.
How do I pay?
Partner hotels take cards. Local hosts are paid in USDC from a Solana wallet or from Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon or Avalanche.
How is my money protected when I book a local host?
It waits in an on-chain escrow and reaches the host 24 hours after the booking starts. Until then a cancellation is refunded under the rate’s terms, and an open dispute freezes the money until it is resolved.
Can I use Pinns from Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes. Add https://api.pinns.io/mcp as a connector: the assistant searches stays and activities, checks prices and gives you a link to book on pinns.io.
Which languages does Pinns speak?
Sixteen: English, German, Spanish, Finnish, French, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Thai, Turkish, Vietnamese and Chinese.
