How Pinns works

1. Describe the trip

Tell the agent what you want in plain words — “a quiet villa with a pool near the beach under $80” — and it searches stays and activities, compares rates and hands you the options with photos and prices. You can also browse destinations on the map.

2. Book

• Partner hotels are paid by card on a secure payment form.
• Stays and activities from local hosts are paid in USDC, from a Solana wallet or from Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon or Avalanche. The money waits in an on-chain escrow and reaches the host 24 hours after the booking starts; until then a cancellation is refunded under the rate’s terms, and an open dispute freezes it.
• The cancellation terms of every rate are shown before you pay.

3. Add your trip

Your trip is a city and dates — never the place you stay. A trip made from a booking is marked “verified by booking”. Once your trip is in, you see the other travelers who will be in the city on the same days, ranked by the days you overlap, your languages and interests. It is free.

4. Meet

Every destination has a city chat for the people who are there. Anyone with a trip can host a meetup for 2 to 100 people — a dinner, a walk, a dive — and link it to an activity or a stay so others can book a place too. Polls and live location work in every chat.

5. Stay safe

• Verify your identity with a document and a live selfie to get a badge; women-only and men-only meetups need it.
• Block or report anyone in one tap. City and meetup chats are moderated, and suspended accounts disappear from every list.
• Your gender stays private, and the number of travelers in a city is shown in ranges.
