Gold Airport Suites

Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig auf dem Weg zum Flughafen. Wir haben ein Zimmer gebucht um vor unserem Abflug nochmal duschen und entspannen zu können. Leider war das Wetter nicht so gut, sonst hätten wir den Pool noch ausprobiert. Das Zimmer war gut und die Einrichtung einfach aber ausreichend. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis für einen kurzen Stop nach Landung oder vor Abflug ist super. Das Hotel bietet einen eigenen Flughafentransfer an, der regelmäßig und günstig die Gäste zum Flughafen bringt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Hôtel à proximité de l'aéroport avec possibilité de restauration à proximité. Equipement correct (TV, piscine). Petit-déjeuner correct.

Un petit rafraichissement dans la chambre et la salle de bain serait appréciable.

The room was decent

It was extremely flooded, up to my knees, I couldn’t do anything, the restaurant was closed to the public, the fitness center was flooded, the environment was giving me anxiety which caused me to leave the following morning. They could have at least given me a discount or a free ride to the airport, I didn’t stay the remaining two nights. Or they could’ve offered me to cancel by emailing me, because naturally they knew how horrible the conditions it was.

What I liked about the accommodation is that it is very close to the airport. There is a shuttle service available for an additional fee, but it is organised directly by the accommodation, which makes it very convenient. The massage centre is also a plus. The massage therapist is very, very good and I really enjoyed the massage.

What I liked less about the accommodation was the airport shuttle service. When I arrived at the airport, I had to wait more than 30 minutes for the shuttle to take me to the accommodation because we had to wait for other hotel guests to arrive. If you only have a limited number of hours for a layover, like I did, this means losing another 45 minutes or so just waiting for other guests. The rooms were clean overall, which I appreciated. However, the location is very close to the airport, and unfortunately the surrounding area is not particularly nice. I didn’t use the swimming pool because it was raining during my stay, so I can’t personally comment on it. However, I noticed that many reviews mention concerns about the cleanliness of the pool water. I also tried the restaurant because I didn’t have any cash to go somewhere else. I have to say it wasn’t anything special. For the price, it’s okay, but the pad Thai I had was not particularly good. I’ve definitely had better. As for my room specifically, it was generally clean, but there were ants walking around. Also, there was a significant amount of mould between the sink and the wall, particularly around the rubber seal, which I found quite unpleasant. Another downside was the noise. I could clearly hear people talking and moving around in the corridors, so the rooms are not particularly soundproof or quiet.
