Dear Booking.com Customer Service, I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding my current hotel reservation in Pattaya. Unfortunately, the hotel is far below the standard and expectations based on the informatio n provided on Booking.com at the time of booking. The hotel was advertised on Booking.com as a 4-star hotel, while upon arrival and during our stay, we found that the actual standard appears to be that of a 3-star hotel or even below. The facilities, services, and overall condition of the hotel do not match what was presented on your platform. Furthermore, several basic amenities are not available in the room. For example, there is not even complimentary drinking water provided in the room, and other basic facilities and services that we reasonably expected are either unavailable or not provided to an acceptable standard. This has caused significant disappointment and inconvenience , especially since we selected and paid for this hotel based on the information and rating displayed on Booking.com. I therefore request that Booking.com investigate this matter urgently and provide an appropriate solution. I would prefer one of the following: 1. Transfer us to a genuine 4-star hotel of a similar or better standard at no additional cost, or egards, [Your Name]2. Cancel the remaining reservation and provide a full refund, together with appropriate compensation for the inconvenience caused. I can provide photographs, videos, and screenshots of the hotel listing on Booking.com showing the advertised 4-star rating and the actual condition of the hotel.
