we had a private pool villa which was lovely, it also had a waterfall that happened twice a day which was cool to see, right across from the beach so good location but as to things to do around everything is on the other side of the island (around a 50 minute car drive) to get over there so be weary of that, we enjoyed our stay here, good breakfast, nice staff and lovely cute cats, we had one little white cat that visited us everyday and fell in love with my boyfriend :) the resort is very peaceful, especially when we went in october, it had beautiful gardens and was maintained well.

Whilst Kanok resort would have been an absolutely stunning resort in its heyday, it looks quite old. However, the pool was kept pristine, the gardens were well maintained, the breakfast in the restaurant was quite adequate and the staff were just lovely. The resort on the beach is in a quiet part of Lipa Noi with easy access to local restaurants and laundry services.

When we first arrived at the resort, we walked to the beach only to find approx 1 mitre wide band of jellyfish floating around the shoreline. Whilst they are harmless, the thought of swimming through them was a little overwhelming, most of them had gone the next day. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay.

I would recommend for a short stay rather than a long stay visit if you just want to stay by the pool as the location is

The property was clean and tidy, the private pool was nice but cold. Breakfast was okay same food every day.

The decor was extremely dated and didn’t have warm water to shower at night, when they came to clean the room they just make the bed not change the bedsheets.

If it wasn't for the leakage a great place

Breakfast was great, beach was lovely, room was good

when we emptied the bath the water came up through the shower drain and flooded the bathroom. They said it was fixed but was worse second night when we emptied the bath the water came up 3 drains so they moved us to another room and it happened again. We checked out the next day.
